Artist Statement: The concepts developed in N.Y. were based on a deep interest in ancient religions and on discussions with my teachers at the School of Visual Arts – especially with Will Insley and Luccio Pozzi. These concepts served to direct my work for several years afterwards. It is there that Olive columns and Earth Chamber were conceived and developed to be actually realized in Jerusalem years later. Towards the end of the NY period I participated in several exhibitions, including a one man show at the Pindar Gallery in Soho.
